I got a recommendation from another painter for Boyd Painting since my first choice was. He was very accommodating to my tight schedule.

It was no small job. My home is an older home with lots of complicated architectural design and Boyd was not afraid of tackling the job.His price was very fair and he did a completely professional job. He paid such attention to detail.

He made sure everything was done correctly and I would definitely recommend him to others on Angie's List. He had a great attitude and no was never in his vocabulary. He always said yes to every request.

 To Whom It May Concern,

Several years ago, I needed my home painted along with some other repair work.  A good friend of mine gave me Tim's number and I called him.  He responded promptly; we set up an appointment and sat down together to see what I needed.  He told me he could spray on a product, at the same time he painted, which would eliminate mildew from forming on the North side of my house.  I must admit I thought it was wishful thinking at the time but I agreed to try it out.  This had been a constant problem for the past 25 years and forced me to hire someone every few years to pressure clean my home.  It's been at least five years now since he painted and that side of the house, as well as the rest, is mildew free.

Besides, painting my home, installing and staining two new doors, setting up security lights in four locations around the house and pressure cleaning my fence ( which made it look brand new again ), he also saved me a ton of grief and money by alerting me to check the license of a contractor who was bidding a job to hurricane proof my roof and attic.  I had used them for installing a window film a few years before so I wouldn't have thought of it.  He showed me a site on the internet which allowed me to check, not only this contractor, but any other I might use in the future.  As it turned out, the firm's license had been revoked six months earlier.  I called, asked the owner about what I had discovered (something he first tried to deny) and asked for my deposit back...and I got it too.

In summation, if you want an honest, fair and talented firm to work on your home, I would highly recommend you seek out Boyd Painting.  I don't think you'll be disappointed.

    In Sincere Gratitude,

I have had the pleasure of using Tim Boyd Painting on many occasions over the past several years. Both at my commercial property and my personal home, I have found Tim and his team to be excellent in every way.

They are very detailed and thorough in their job execution and completion, very tidy and professional. I have used Boyd Painting INC. for interior and exterior jobs, and his knowledge and experience was very evident. I also feel that they are very competitive in pricing.

I would highly recommend Tim Boyd for any of your professional painting needs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Customers Ask When Receiving Estimates from Painting Contractors

Why should I hire a professional painter?

Before deciding to "do it yourself" or hire the cheapest painter in the phone book, there are several factors that suggest the lowest price may not be the best value.
Preparation- Getting the surface properly prepared makes all the difference (the best materials perform poorly if the preparation is not proper.) Professional contractors know the value of preparation and will do it right.Product Knowledge- Coating choices today are more complicated than just oil or latex, and professional contractors will know what paint systems work, how to use it, and will have the right tools for the job.Cleanup and Disposal - During any job there is the definite probability that hazardous waste will be generated. Professional contractors will know how to handle these hazardous wastes and how to dispose of them. This means you don't have to worry about dealing with paint residues and other leftovers.
